Sunni Muslims consider Twelver Shia to be un-Islamic for several reasons. One of the main reasons is the Twelver Shia's belief in the concept of Imams, who they consider to be divinely appointed leaders with special spiritual authority. This belief is seen as contradicting the Sunni understanding of the caliphate and the leadership of the Muslim community. Additionally, some Sunni Muslims view certain Twelver Shia practices, such as the veneration of the Imams and the commemoration of their martyrdom, as deviating from mainstream Islamic teachings. These theological and doctrinal differences have led to historical tensions and disagreements between Sunni and Twelver Shia Muslims. **
